Tuesday was BIKE DAY!
Everyone brought a bike or scooter to school to ride and we had so much fun!
 Ready to Ride!

After riding our bikes, we went to the grassy field and practiced our listening skills with a game of Red Light, Green Light.
Look at us GO!
 Look at us STOP!

We enjoyed reading Duck On A Bike when we came inside. We applied it to our own bike day, and brainstormed animals that may ride our bikes.

We kept a transportation theme going throughout the week.  We explored some cool roadways with our cars.

We practiced our counting skills by using noodles to stamp "wheels" on our Wheel Counting worksheet.

On Thursday, we used our fine motor skills to cut out our own cars. We sponge painted them and glued them together too!

We worked our imaginations on a "Shapes On The Go" project.  We chose an unfinished picture and finished it by adding shapes and details. Then we decided where our shapes were going!

Our April placemats are ready!  We painted potatoes to stamp an egg design on them.
We ended our week with a car wash.
We also enjoyed the warm, sunny weather outside with our friends this week!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break! It's great to be back!

St. Patrick's Celebrations

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
We prepared for the holiday this week by incorporating rainbows, gold, and leprechauns into our activities.  We thought it would be a good idea to take our Leprechaun out of our trap. He helped us read a story about Leprechauns.
We quickly learned just how tricky Leprechauns can be. When we weren't looking, our Leprechaun escaped and left us a mess!

We practiced number recognition and counting this week.  We had to identify numbers and correctly count our pieces of gold.

We used rainbow colors to paint masterpieces.

 Look at our colorful paintings!
We also had fun celebrating a friend's birthday this week!
In our literacy center we practiced some sight words and worked on the concept of a word.  We also practiced correct grip on our crayons to help us color neatly.

We worked our fine motor skills by putting together a Leprechaun craft. This Leprechaun will not get away from us since it's made of paper.

Wednesday was Parade Day!  Children put on their green and bundled up to march in the WIPP St. Patrick's Day Parade!

We hope you have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and enjoy your Spring Break!
