This week we talked about our planet Earth! We loved looking at the globe to see where we live and talking about ways to help keep our Earth healthy.
We made our own earths by coloring coffee filters with land and water. Next, we sprayed them to watch the colors blend together.
We introduced two new sight words and a new book in our literacy center this week.
We enjoyed celebrating our friend's birthday and her special snack!

Our pencil grips look great! We did a wonderful job tracing some tricky numbers.
We talked about the word "recycle" and identified things that can be recycled. We sorted "trash" into two piles. Things that can be recycled and things that cannot.
On Friday, we read The Lorax.
This book helped us talk about ways we can take care of the Earth.
